BabyLinkPre-release version: the current test candidate works with two phones on the same Wi-Fi only. Remote services and purchases described below are not enabled in it; saving short sound clips on the phone is available and off by default. Terms of use
These terms describe the safe, intended use of BabyLink. By using the app, you agree to use it only where you are authorised to monitor and record.
Not a medical or safety device
BabyLink does not diagnose, prevent or treat any condition and does not replace adult supervision. Do not rely on it for breathing, heart-rate, sleep or emergency monitoring.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for device placement, power, network access, notification settings, local recording laws and permission from every person whose audio may be captured. Never place a phone in or on a cot.
Service availability
Phones, operating systems, Wi-Fi, mobile networks and third-party notification services can interrupt monitoring. The app surfaces failures but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
Accounts, family access and security
Keep pairing codes private and revoke lost or untrusted devices. You may use the service only for a family or household you are authorised to manage.
Subscriptions
Prices and trial eligibility are shown by the app store before purchase. Subscriptions renew and can be cancelled through the store account. Active monitoring is not stopped solely because an entitlement expires mid-session.
Acceptable use
Do not use BabyLink for covert surveillance, harassment, unlawful recording, reverse engineering of security controls, service disruption or access to another family.
Liability and termination
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without a promise of uninterrupted operation. Access may be limited for abuse or security risk. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
